Well, this seems to be happening more and more. Monday came and went this week with me being super sick and taking care of two sick kids. It actually wasn’t as bad as it could have been, but we still didn’t make it to the grocery store, I could barely wrap my head around meal planning, and the hubby picked up dinner on his way home. I thought Tuesday was going to be a packed day of doctors check ups (just a well baby appointment for the little miss) and baking heart shaped cookies. Well the doctor called to reschedule and the toddler didn’t want anything to do with baking (fine by me, because I am exhausted). We managed to hit the grocery store first thing this morning! Success!
Here’s what we are eating this week:
Monday – take out
Tuesday – breakfast for dinner! eggs, bacon, toast. YUM
Wednesday – baked chicken with rice and salad
Thursday – steak stir fry with red peppers, cabbage, broccoli, and a homemade sweat and sour sauce
Friday – garlic and herb crusted fish with asparagus and rice
