Well, it seems that I have fallen into a lazy blogging pattern again. Hopefully this week I will get out some great posts for everyone to enjoy, and not just my weekly meal plan.
The sales this week, well, they are mostly processed/packaged stuff. We’re on a tight budget so it is very tempting to stock my freezer and cold room full of it all. I know I will end up buying some of the junk, but hopefully I can continue with buying as much fresh/raw ingredients as possible. It is so much healthier, and even with really great sales, making it myself can still sometimes be cheaper!
Here is what we are eating this week:
Monday – pork souvlaki pitas (mmm tzatziki!)
Tuesday – baked chicken with beans and salad
Wednesday – pasta with ham and peas and a garlic cream sauce
Thursday – pizza with oven fries and salad
Friday – fish with veggie fried rice (enjoyed it so much last week, we’ll have it again!)
