Well it’s a holiday Monday here in Ontario, which always makes me panic. I never forget a holiday, but I do often forget it means grocery stores will be closed, and since I do my shopping on Mondays, a moment of panic on Sunday night. This happened last night, but then I realized that stores are in fact open today, what a relief! So we did make it out this morning to get up some much needed groceries, after being away part of the weekend at the family cottage.
Here is what we are eating this week:
Monday – bbq’d pork steaks with baked potatoes and corn on the cob
Tuesday – cheese tortellini with a ground turkey and tomato sauce and salad
Wednesday – sausage and rice skillet with broccoli and carrots
Thursday – cheese perogies with sautéed peppers and zuchinni (I treat the perogies like pasta, creating an Italian style dish with basil and garlic, SO YUMMY!)
Friday – black bean and veggie fajitas
I’m hoping this week to build up the courage to make that Greek yogurt. I’m so afraid it won’t turn out, and I will have wasted all that milk and my time. And since my freezer is filly up with bananas again, and the morning are cooler, I’ll be making a few dozen whole wheat banana muffins this week too.
As always, I am linking up with Org Junkie. Happy mean planning!
